Create a Firebase project
Go to console.firebase.google.com, sign in with any Google account, click Create a project. Free, no card needed.

Turn on Firestore
Build → Firestore Database → Create database. Pick any location, start in test mode.

Open the Rules tab
Inside Firestore Database, click Rules, delete everything, paste this, then Publish:

service cloud.firestore {
match /databases/{database}/documents {
match /{document=**} {
allow read, write: if true;
}
}
}

Get your config values
⚙️ next to "Project Overview" → Project settings → scroll to Your apps → click the </> web icon → register an app. You'll get a snippet with the 6 values below.

Fill in the form below
Paste all 6 values in, then tap Connect.
